Job Description

Job Title: Project Support EngineerContract: PermanentHours: Full time (37.5 hours), Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Location: ErdingtonSalary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annumBenefits:25 days holiday plus bank holidays, auto enrolment pension, 3x annual salary life assurance, free parking Our client based in Erdington is looking to recruit a Project Support Engineer. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. You will be working within the company design department. The successful candidate will ideally haveexperience in a manufacturing environment.Duties include:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to accurately scope projects from the outset
  • To agree targets with the team of key indicators and monitor throughout the project
  • Preparing, scheduling and co-ordinating assigned projects
  • Hosting project reviews to monitor performance against plan
  • Support budget proposal and monitor both non-recurring and recurring costs
  • Identifying potential problems with the project, leading the team into developing solutions and ensuring they are implemented
Skills and experience required:
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask and work to deadlines
  • Proficient in all IT packages
