Job title: Project Manager (App / Digital / Technology Projects)Location: BirminghamSalary: £30,000 - £35,000Position: Permanent Full-timeThis is a Waterfall and Agile technology Project Management role where you will have the opportunity to deliver unique and innovative tech solutions to customers from diverse industry sectors. Trading for over 12 years, the company is a well-known mobileapp and web app development agency based in Birminghams well-known Jewellery Quarter. Working in the Project Team, you will coordinate the delivery of projects between our Development, UI/UX, Sales Teams and customers.Job Role:Based in Birminghams well-known Jewellery Quarter, the Company specialises in making unique mobile and web apps for various businesses and is looking for a Project Manager to join the Team. You will report to and support the Program Manager.You will deliver innovative tech projects to customers in a diverse range of sectors using Agile and Waterfall approaches. You will support planning, requirements capture, overseeing development resource, and customer had over. Customers experience is atthe centre of the role.Youll need excellent stakeholder management skills, attention to detail, the ability to deliver succinct Project Status Reports to customers, and a keen eye on budgets and the projects deadlines. This role is ideal for a proactive, well-organised individualwho can spot project risks, mitigate them, and negotiate with stakeholders. It is also essential that you can problem solve, capture and document project requirements either as a technical specification, or within tickets.We are looking for evidence of transferrable skills that demonstrate you will work well with the team, have strong technical problem solving abilities, project management skills, and be capable of carrying out your roles and responsibilities. Whilst notnecessary, a technical background, computer science degree, or experience working in a previous software company would be highly desirable. Project Management qualifications such as SCRUM or Prince2 are also desirable.These are the nature of tasks that you will support the Company with:

1. Agile and Waterfall project management using our project management software (Atlassian Jira).
2. Autonomously managing and having accountability for customer project success and satisfaction from start to finish for tech projects.
3. Liaising with customers about the status of their project via email, phone and in person.
4. Resource Scheduling (such as developers and designers)
5. Creative problem solving of customer and commercial issues.
6. Taking initiative with internal process optimisation and documentation.
7. Leading project planning sessions to extract business objectives to create project requirements that realise these benefits.
8. Strong attention to detail, a keen eye for manging budgets, and managing deadlines and expectations.
9. Leading project meetings, taking notes and setting actions.
10. Coordinating our internal customer-support-ticket system (Jira Service Desk), ensuring clients get a timely response to issues and requests raised.
11. Liaising with external suppliers and coordinating their output with the project.
12. Conducting and overseeing successful internal testing and User Acceptance Testing.
13. Creating and maintaining project documentation.
14. Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the project team.
15. Other business and administrative duties as required.

The company requires a candidate who is able to get up to speed quickly and able to work autonomously due to your existing project management experience. You should demonstrate that you conduct your work with attention to detail, considering the wider objectivesof the task to spot potential edge-case issues.Remote/Hybrid working options available.To be considered, you will need:

• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Experience using project management software (Such as Jira or Asana)
• Able to work under pressure when there are deadlines.
• To demonstrate you are a well organised person who can manage your time and priorities.
• Telephone experience.
• To be familiar with using MS Office.
• The ability to write business emails and documents effectively.
• Strong ability to think analytically and solve problems.
