Job Description

Project ManagerDecarbonisationType: Full Time / Permanent Location: Birmingham Salary: £60,00065,000 per annum + car allowance I am currently looking for aproject managerto work on a Decarbonisation project based in Birmingham, this will consist of EWI and roofing works.The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate experience working on Zero Carbon projects within social housing. You would have 4 direct reports and be responsible for programming, health & safety, P&L, dealing with client face to face,Duties:

  • Review design drawings for buildability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate
  • Manage the Health and Safety of all activities on site and implement process and procedures.
  • Manage the Site Operations team including site managers, assistant site mangers and logistics team
  • Coordinate and Manage Sub-Contactors to ensure programme requirements are achieved.
  • Agree sub-contractors long term and short term programme and monitor performance against these programmes
  • Monitor and understand position against contract programme, agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate and communicate with all support functions including, commercial, planning, design and engineering.
  • Assist the Project Manager in achieving the Project Quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.
About You:
  • At least 3 years experience working for a main contractor as a project manager
  • Social housing and EWI experience
  • Excellent design and programming skills
  • Good health and safety
  • SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid / Scaffold Inspection / Asbestos Awareness
