Job Description

This ensures an inclusive, dedicated, and fun environment.We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project/Delivery Manager. This will be an office based job. Working alongside our key stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

  • The delivery of varied initiatives and projects for the business, working with stakeholders and internal customers. Initiatives and projects will be varied in nature and will be requested from all across all areas of the organisation.
  • Working with the Business Analyst you will ensure that value is created and can be realised by the business.
  • Maintain the pipeline of projects, working with the Business Analyst.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to understand requirements for delivery and the outcomes that are required.
  • Maintain delivery roadmaps working with the Business Analyst, IT Manager and wider business stakeholders.
  • Working with the Business Analyst, IT Manager as well as other contributors to make work ready for delivery.
  • Maintain clear and reportable project statuses into stakeholders and facilitate a regular meeting with them that provides both status and look-aheads to ensure that the team continue to work on the most valuable items aligned to the business.
  • Determine Project ceremonies and their cadences. Working as part of the delivery team, facilitate project and team meetings and provide guidance and leadership for other members of the team to facilitate where appropriate.
  • Work with the IT Manager and the Business Analyst to maintain the IT Risk register.
  • Work with Delivery Managers, Business Analysts and Delivery Teams to ensure that Projects and changes are successfully transitioned into BAU service delivery.
  • Facilitate and drive monthly IT performance reporting to the Executive team working with the IT Manager.
  • Identify additional resource requirements (internal and external) to be able to deliver against the project pipeline.
  • Undertake appropriate continuous professional development.
  • Be flexible to the changing needs of the business and react accordingly with your approach.
Experience, skills and abilities:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant delivery management with programmes and projects in a commercial environment.
  • Experience of initiative and project management across various areas of an organisation.
  • You are responsive, helpful and understand what is required to make sure our Initiatives and Projects are delivered and effectively managed and communicated upon.
  • You are comfortable in the detail and can communicate with a wide range of stakeholders effectively, both written and verbally.
  • You are pragmatic and realistic. You report statuses concisely. You are able to foresee challenges and adapt your delivery approach accordingly.
  • You ask the right questions, challenge positively and are used to working in a team environment to deliver, utilising all the skills of the team.
  • You are wholly supportive to your team and display servant leadership qualities.
  • You are calm under pressure and can both give and receive open, objective, feedback.
