Project Landscape ArchitectWe are currently partnered with a well-established Architecture firm, based in the Birmingham area. You will be working directly with the Head of Landscape and Senior Management teams on the design and development of projects for concept stage through to completion.The role will be as a Landscape Architect working from their Birmingham studio, leading and delivering on landscape commissions and working directly with the in-house team of architectural staff, external clients and external design teams comprising subconsultants working on a wide variety of schemes and projects, such as Strategic/ Master-Planning, Mixed Use, Residential, Educational and Commercial throughout the UK.You may also be required to travel occasionally, to locations such as Sheffield for training and meetings, as well as to their studios in London and Kent. Main Duties- Responsible for day to day administration and management of landscape projects- Prepare concept sketches and develop/design/detail utilising software/ArchiCAD in BIM - Liaising with the multidisciplinary team, clients and external consultants - Develop and delivery landscape projects through to completion- Ensuring the landscape design is kept within the clients set budget and program - Producing reports and any necessary documents for projects - Prepare all drawn information, specifications, and schedules associated with typical landscape Architecture services- Attending to design team meetings and co-ordinate meetings at workshops- Attending client/stakeholder meetings to present designs and reportsKey Requirements and Attributes- Experienced landscape architect (minimum of 4 years post-chartership, or similar)- Demonstrable skills in leading and delivering complex schemes of varying scale - Good level of technical design competency and proficiency with CAD - Good level of graphical talent and sound knowledge of the UK standards and planning system Company Benefits- A starting salary of £33,000-£36,000 - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Private health care - Pension - Critical illness and life assurance cover If you fit the above requirements and attributes and are keen to join a forward thinking, passionate Architecture firm please apply now and we will be in touch to discuss your application further.
