Job Description

Job Title: Project Coordinator (Battery Workforce Training Initiative)Location: BirminghamSalary: £13,770 - £14,604 per annum (Pro rata of £33,966 - £26,024) - SS5Job type: Part Time (15 Hours), Fixed Term (Until March 2025)University College Birmingham works in partnership with the University of Warwick - Ranked eighth in the 2023 Guardian League Tables and 10th in the UK in the QS World University rankings 2023.The Role:University College Birmingham has been awarded funding to develop the Battery Workforce Training Initiative in the West Midlands region.This is an exciting project which brings together an inspirational partnership including Warwick Manufacturing Group and Cranfield University and endorsements from companies such as Jaguar Land Rover.To assist the University in this endeavour we are looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to support the project team in developing, delivering, tracking, and evaluating the Battery Workforce Training Initiative Project to achieve the overall projectsstated goals and objectives.The core aim of this project is to:

  • develop innovative approaches to battery workforce development
  • develop innovative approaches to outreach which will attract diverse talent to careers in the battery industry
