Opportunity for a sales professional to join a leading global independent insurance broker in Manchester.Due to continued expansion of the Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) division, my client has a new opportunity for a Professional Indemnity Insurance Lead Generator.The main purpose of the role will be to identify and research prospects and contacts; Successful promotion and selling of my clients product and services to prospects via telephone-based contact; Obtaining key financial data and relevant information in relation to targeted prospects to then pass on to the Producers (Business Developers); Event organisation and management.You will be a strong relationship builder with the ability to identify opportunities for business development and be able to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and within the business. You will Pro-actively identify new potential prospects for targeting. This may include regularly reviewing business magazines, newspapers articles, and web sites.To be considered you will ideally need previous experience working in the insurance sector, however those with strong sales and admin skills form another sector will also be considered.You will need to have cold calling experience, ideally b2b and be decent on the admin side as well. Insurance experience ideal but not essential.Location is totally flexible - ideally in commuting distance to Manchester, Birmingham, London, Bristol, or Glasgow. Required skills
