Job Description

Our client is a global leading provider and manufacturer of healthcare solutions. They have an opportunity for a talented Production Manager to join their team in Birmingham.   • Providing day to day leadership and management of the facility, including the mentoring and development of staff, utilizing influencing skills where appropriate - ensure that all staff are fully engaged with the facilities performance being communicatedto all as appropriate.
  • The provision of service excellence, at all times and to all customers, with patient, customer and employee safety paramount in all activities.
  • Ensuring continued compliance with all requirements of the MHRA and the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC; maintenance of a fully accredited Quality Management System (ISO 13485).
  • Working closely and liaising with all key stakeholders, drive effective continuous improvement and lean activities in all operational aspects of the facility, ensuring delivery is ready on-time and represented at all times.
  • Through the delivery of regular internal communications, ensure a suitable standard of commercial awareness is maintained amongst all employees within the facility.
  • Establishing a robust junior management team throughout all shifts.
  • Implement and cascade effectively the delivery of corporate strategy, and the facility business plan.
  • Documentation of reports from customers relating to product quality complaints or adverse drug reactions, ensuring essential minimum information is collected and forwarded to the Regulatory Affairs Department the same day they are received.
  • Set and manage performance targets and clear deliverables for all direct reports.
About You:
  • Proven track record of leadership and senior management of a large multifunctional team
  • Experience in a Healthcare related service or production environment is desirable.
  • Previous experience in HSE environment - NEBOSH certificate is desirable.
  • Highly motivated and willing to develop - can successfully manage a high workload.
  • Business Qualification A Level or equivalent
  • Educated to HNC/HND level or higher
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Possess a Full UK Driving License
