Job Description

Calling all Travel Product Executives! Do you have solid product experience within the Travel industry Do you want to utilise the skills to help expand my clients product base and help this successful independent travel company go from strength to strengthMy client is a leading travel company, based in their modern South Birmingham office, they are looking for an experienced Product Executive to join them to manage existing product! Experience within Product is essential so that the successful candidate canhit the ground running, if you have the skills we are looking for this could be the perfect opportunity for you!The Product Executive will assist the Marketing Team to ensure that all brands are promoted through a variety of online activities. You will be responsible to ensure that the distribution and delivery of the product offering is consistent and competitive.DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Identifying and building great product for all marketing channels which includes Social Media, Eshots, brochures, mailers and websites
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing against our own.
  • Ensure product is built following correct process and are accurate
  • Collate and communicate key cruise campaigns from suppliers to marketing and sales team both ongoing and in a monthly round up.
  • Ensure all websites are up to date with current offers/campaigns/Sales Messages
  • Ensure marketing plan is kept up to date with supplier activity and funding agreed
  • Ensure that marketing activities are delivered on time
  • Set up groups with key suppliers in order to give us a competitive edge
  • Ensure that all suppliers are invoiced correctly each month and ensure that marketing follow the correct process in terms of supplier approval
  • Gain approval for last minute tacticals to push sales where necessary
  • Attend supplier meetings where product specifics are on the agenda
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:The successful candidate will be a suitably experience travel industry product executive, with a sound knowledge of tour operations.THE PACKAGE:My client will pay a competitive starting salary, negotiable according to experience.
