Job Description

Join us on the journey... We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Development Manager working hybrid from our head office in Birmingham. In this role you will support and manage new/existing ancillary products and strategic business projects, aligned to the businesss growth strategy, that deliver profitablerevenue growth for National Express UK Coach.What youll do...

  • Manage and take ownership of a portfolio of products and business projects, as required from the business, to deliver business growth and/or customer improvements.
  • Support the end-to-end delivery of National Express Coachs ancillary and product development strategy; including the undertaking of market/business analysis, customer research, project planning, product implementation and on-going management/optimisation.
  • Deliver and present business cases for senior management approval that drive revenue growth and support the businesss strategic aims.
  • Undertake comprehensive stakeholder management for new products/initiatives involving a range of cross-functional teams, including; Marketing, Customer Experience, PR, Digital, Business Change & Legal.
  • Manage a number of key external business partners and suppliers to optimise on existing products and delivery new products to market.
  • Deliver ad-hoc commercial analysis (using Tableau/Excel) to understand and review ancillary product performance; be able to deliver insightful commentary and present analysis in a way that is suitable for the audience.
  • Support with quarterly budgeting and forecasting schedules for the Ancillary & Product Development revenue streams.
  • Support the wider Business Development team in pursuing ad hoc projects.
What youll need...
  • Graduate calibre
  • Significant relevant experience in project management, product development and delivering business initiatives.
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Financially and commercially astute.
  • Confident in managing a large number of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent communication skills including written and presentation.
