Network Public Sector have been retained to source a highly experienced and qualified Category Manager/Head of Procurement for our Local Government client.The role is initially for a period of 6 months.Candidates will be ideally educated to degree level and possess MCIPS or related qualificationSuitable candidates will have experience of leading and managing senior level strategic procurement projects and will have experience working within the public sector, local authority preferred.Projects will be varied and will include FM, buildings and services, corporate services, accommodation, SMART projects relating to transport and utilities and environmental protection.Knowledge of EU tendering and contracting procedures is required.
