Procurement Business PartnerSalary: £37,580 - £44,210 per annumLocation: Flexible with occasional travel when needed to Birmingham/London OfficeContract: PermanentHours: Full timeAs the General Dental Council (GDC) sets out a new ambitious corporate strategy to further prevent patient harm, it is vital we are able to procure the services and resources needed to achieve our aims. We are therefore expanding our procurement team, presentingexciting new opportunities including the role of Procurement Business Partner.As a Procurement Business Partner, you will ensure the General Dental Council obtains the best value for money in its procurement activities while adhering to policy and legal requirements. You will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiatingand monitoring contracts, identifying efficiency savings, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will collaborate closely with other teams within GDC, such as Finance, Information Technology, Information Governance, People Services, andLegal to provide expertise in procurement and specialist support to ensure the effective delivery of procurement activities and projects.About you:You will have a business partnering approach to procurement with a strong customer focus. Your application will need to evidence experience of successfully achieving targets and objectives, along with demonstrable knowledge of best practice developmentsin procurement and sourcing, and knowledge of current procurement law and compliance.About us:Our primary purpose is to protect patient safety and maintain public confidence in dental services.
