Preventative Maintenance EngineerBirmingham - East MidlandsMonday to Friday 38.5 hours per weekWant to work with a globally recognised brand of heavy plant machinerySMT GBmarkets and distributesVolvo Construction Equipment including wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulicexcavators, and utility and road equipment products across the UK.Our Preventative Maintenance Engineers keep our customers’ Volvo construction equipment running smoothly and efficiently by carrying out essential planned maintenance and servicing on our customers sites, this could be anything from a 500-hour service onan excavator to a routine check-up on a small digger.HoursCore hours: Mon to Wed 08.00 - 16.30, Thurs 08.00 - 16.00, Fri 08.00 - 15.30Overtime: Time and a half on hours outside of core hours Monday to noon SaturdayOvertime: Double time from noon Saturday to 08.00 MondayRequirementsIdeally, you’ll hold a minimum of NVQ L2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, or similar heavy machinery. With previous experience servicing or fitting parts on heavy machinery you’ll also be a problem solver with strong customer serviceand communication skills.The right to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship and a full UK driving licence is essential.
