Offering a complete Plant hire service and have extensive range of Plant to hire. They offer complete manufacturing training to all of their experienced Preventative Maintenance Engineers.Your responsibilities will include-In the role of Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will serve as a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, operating within the Birmingham region. You will be part of an exceptional team of Preventative Maintenance Engineers dedicated to the upkeep, servicing,and repair of our companys extensive fleet of Plant Hire equipment.
  • Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of equipment such as excavators, diggers, dumpers, rollers and more.
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance as and when required
  • Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults and issues.
  • Complete detailed reports on all work carried out.
  • Provide support and mentoring for less experienced Preventative Maintenance Engineers.
  • Work with a fantastic team of qualified Preventative Maintenance Engineers.
Other industries considered-
  • HGV/Powered Access/Agricultural/Plant
Experience essential for this role -
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in a form of engineering
  • CSCS card
  • Fully qualified Plant Fitter
  • A good understanding of Hydraulic, Electric and Mechanical systems
  • Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing faults with a variety of plant.
  • Ability to diagnose and carry out repairs on errors and faults with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
  • Great communication skills and problem solving skills
