Job Description

PR Executiveupto £26k - hybrid roleThe roleCulture Recruitment Group wants to hear from you if youre a journalist with experience in editing and all aspects of public/media relations. We are seeking a Press & PR Executive to join a busy team in Birmingham, identifying and maximising publicity opportunities.The role is full-time and comes with a salary of £23,000-26,000.This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and collaborative Press and PR team in a senior role. You will be working alongside experienced journalists and PR executives to sustain and enhance the organisations profile as the leading voice of businessin the region.Some of the primary duties you will take on in your day-to-day role as Press & PR Executive include:

  • Editing and executing production of the daily newsletter as well as contributing to the production of the companys magazine
  • Contributing to the companys social media, podcasts, and video output
  • Identifying and writing potential press releases from all departments, taking pictures for the newsletter, and distributing to the media where appropriate
  • Advising colleagues on dealings with the media and all aspects of public relations and company promotion
To apply for this Press & PR Executive position, you will need to be an experienced journalist with a diploma in journalism or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in editing and all aspects of public/media relations. We are also lookingfor the following qualifications:
  • Developed understanding and knowledge of magazine layouts, picture editing, and digital graphics
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Proficient IT Skills
  • Full driving licence and ability to work outside normal office hours when required
