I am currently recruiting For a on-site company who require 2 x plumbers. based in Birmingham/Coventry area.Salary- 27000 to 35000 DOEHours-Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week)Interviews, will be face to faceStart date-ASAPVan provided.Summary of Duties:To carry out assembly, installation, upgrades and conversions to Plumbing systems i.e wet and dry systems within both commercial and domestic properties.Repairs and maintenance to Plumbing systems i.e wet and dry systems within both commercial and domestic properties.Main Duties:Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings, using hand or power tools.Fillpipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.Locate and mark the positions of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers or levels.Measure,cut, thread or bend pipe to required angle using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines.Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixturessuch as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.Install underground storm, sanitary, or water piping systems, extending piping as needed to connect fixtures and plumbing.Essential:• Recognised plumbing apprenticeship and/or qualification i.e NVQ level 3 Plumbing and/or City & Guilds• Plumbing experience within the commercial sector e.g. Analysing, fault finding, repair and maintenance of plumbing installations and fittings.• Flexible approach: due to travel aspect, this is a mobile position that will involve travelling to multiple sites across the West & East Midlands as well as some wider travel asrequired. due to customer demands, the ability to work additional hours over and above contracted hours if and when required, where overtime would be payable.• Be part of the emergency call out team on a rota basis• To promote a positive and professional attitude to all customers and staff.• Self- motivated and able to work under own initiative as well as within a team.• Willing to undertake further training/development within the post as required.• The ability to communicate effectively with tenants and other members of the public.• Full UK driving Licence• Basic IT SkillsDesirable:• Pipe-fitting knowledge and experience• Asbestos awarenessif interested please contact, or send an up to date CV to
