Job Description

Birmingham City CentreSalary up to circa £25,000 depending on experienceWe are working with a well-established, Lexcel accredited multi-office law firm who are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their established and friendly team based in Birmingham City Centre.Our client offers a very supportive, friendly, and professionally rewarding work environment, underpinned by their enhanced family friendly policies and commitment to all staffs wellbeing.Whilst the team are busy and hard-working, they do not have anexcessive hours culture found in many larger firms doing similar quality work. They are very committed to giving employees a good work-life balance, allowing them to thrive at work.The Role:The firm are looking for someone to both take on their own limited caseload of fast track claims, as well as provide assistance to senior team members with more complex and high value cases. This role represents an excellent opportunity for someone committedto pursuing a career in PI/Clinical Negligence and who is interested in developing their knowledge of this area of law.The range of personal injury services provided by the firm includes work-related claims, road traffic accident claims, criminal injury compensation claims, slip/trip claims, uninsured/ untraced driver claims and clinical/medical negligence claims.Whilst the firm are ideally looking for someone to work full-time (35 hours per week), applications from candidates looking for part-time/flexible working arrangements will be considered.Suitable candidates will have:

  • 2-3 years experience as a Paralegal or similar
  • At least 1 years experience in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence, ideally having run your own caseload of PI matters and having dealt with cases from start to conclusion
  • Experience of running claims through the rapid claims portal
  • Knowledge of the litigation process, including funding of cases
