If you relish a challenge - and want to work with fun, creative, smart people - you will fit right in.This role is working 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday working from home with complete home office IT set up provided, alongside excellent support and ongoing training.Our client is keen to appoint the right candidate asap so apply now for immediate consideration.This rarely available Performance Tester role will be paying a very competitive salary and will offer excellent variety and exposure to a wide range of existing and new clients, across the UK and beyond.Our client is open to considering either; a proven Performance Tester or a candidate with less experience in this area that is looking for a more performance focused role -exposure to using JMeter as a testing tool is essential.The Role and experience required:The performance tester will be conducting application performance testing using JMeter for an array of different deliveries to ensure system reliability, scalability and capacity.You will be required to write scripts to configure and run performance tests in order to analyse root causes of any performance issues. Your findings will be used by the wider Development and Professional services teams to agree on and facilitate the corrective actions needed in order to achieve maximum system output.We are looking for a good communicator with experience of cross skilling, mentoring and coaching other delivery members to enable scaling of performance testing to various client deliveries.You will be working closely with the in-house development team with a view of understanding the platform and solutions offered alongside reviewing the current performance testing tool to assess its suitability for the solutions offered to clients.With a best practice approach and insightful view, new ideas are always welcomed to improve the performance testing function. Providing regular performance test reports for multiple stakeholders through the business.Our client is looking for either a proven performance tester or a someone with relevant experience within this area that would like to step up or specialise in testing - experience of using JMeter is essential for this role.You will also have an understanding of web based applications, user interfaces and web services, alongside a background in web-based systems.
