Job Description

Reporting to the MD, your ability will enable you to: - Ensure all managers take full ownership for their peoples performance, reward and recognition, development, and happiness at work- Lead a high-performance coaching culture by challenging and coaching management teams- Proactively identifying and addressing organisational development issues by working with the leadership team to assess performance gaps as well as any learning and development needs- Be a trusted adviser to the midlands board of directors on all people related matters- Ensure that the impact of business decisions on people is fully taken into consideration- Use business analytics to measure our people, make recommendations for improvement, change and growth- Lead on the Midlands people strategy which will enable our region to succeed- Develop and deliver a talent management strategy that creates a pool of talent, where both individual aspirations and business needs are balanced- Proactively share best practice and learning and be prepared to support other regional companies when required- Drive initiatives to support our diversity aspirations- Take ownership of all people matters with the support of your team The ideal candidate will: - Be able to coach senior leadership teams- Facilitation workshops and team building events- Balance commercial and business needs whilst remaining people focused- Work in a fast-paced dynamic environment- Able to support talent pool management and succession planning- Work within a matrix management structure and lead a team- Influence and negotiateDesired:- Have a organisational development background- Be CIPD qualifiedTo deliver the role effectively you will work in a hybrid way from home, our three regional offices (Birmingham, Coleshill & Nottingham) and our live projects across the midlands.
