Payroll Administrator within a finance team based near the NEC. Reporting directly to the Payroll Supervisor the Payroll Administrator is responsible for delivering the timely and accurate payment of hourly employee wages in the UK. We are looking for a meticulous and motivated individual to join our team, share in our company values and take their career to the next level You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, 37.5 hours per week. Processing leavers (P45setc.). Processing annual leave requests. Processing Statutory Payments and maintaining records. Processing bi-weekly payroll runs using Pegasus & Quantum Software systems. Dealing with employee payroll queries (directed via District Office). Processing correspondence for the Inland Revenue / Benefits Agency etc. Upkeep of tidy and accessible archive records. Keeping up to date with current legislation. Candidate Requirements Payroll qualifications CIPP or similar Strong payroll processing background. Sound knowledge of compliance to legal requirements of payroll for both UK and Ireland. Able to work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative. Basic understanding of accounting. Attention to detail with a neat, methodical and professional approach to work. Good communicator, able to deal with all levels of the business. Team player. Good computer skills - preferred knowledge of Pegasus Opera Good Excel skills. Verbal and written English.
