Job Description

RM Recruit Ltd is delighted to be working in partnership with an excellent Birmingham based charity in the recruitment of a Finance Manager working 22.5 hours a week on a part-time, permanent basis. You will be working closely with the FD to manage and delivera professional and accurate finance function.Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparation of Management accounts with commentary
  • Assist to the production of statutory accounts with liaison with auditors
  • Production of quarterly and annual Budget
  • Financial forecasting
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Line management of Finance Assistants
  • Continuously updating financial processes and procedures
  • Providing analysis for the preparation of year end accounts
  • Preparation of statistics, management account information and performance against KPI’s on a monthly basis for the board
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function
  • Update and maintain financial information held on the organisations system and accounting software
  • Liaise with staff, volunteers and partners, offering clear information on budgeted spend vs actuals
  • Oversee the management of the asset register and ensure it’s kept up to date
Our client is able to offer a hybrid working environment with the requirement of occasional office presence.
