Job Description

This is an opportunity for a flexible and agile thinking Operations Director, to work with a provider of innovative logistics solutions to a diverse B2B & B2C customer base.This is a highly visible role with responsibility for heading-up the physical delivery operations network.The position demands an individual with gravitas and credibility, commercial aptitude and an inherent aspiration to supply outstanding customer service; a team player as well as a natural leader.You will work collaboratively and constructively across departments to deliver change and process improvements.Applicants need:

  • experience at Senior Management level and a strong background in logistics operations where you have gained a knowledge of multi-site networks, high volumes and large fleets of vehicles
  • Experience of managing geographically dispersed teams
  • excellent financial acumen and good cost management abilities
  • You will be well-versed in driving improvements in both efficiency and customer experience
  • Ability to travel within this role.
