Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available with a financial services institution in Birmingham. The organisation are looking to hire an Operations Assistant (Asset Servicing). This role is within the 1st line of defence.Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake the activities and tasks assigned within the Operations Department.
  • Own, manage and mitigate the risks within your function, generated by the activities under your responsibility and those that report to you (where applicable).
  • Maintaining and executing effective internal controls; implement and apply effective controls to manage risk.
  • Ensure procedures and documentation produced for own areas of responsibility are complete, current and written in accordance with EFGIUK standards.
This role would suit someone who has experience in a similar role or has a genuine interest in the investment and asset management sector. This is an excellent opportunity with a supportive workplace. You will be able to apply and develop your skills andknowledge within investments.
