Youll support with meeting room set up and assist with other operational activity as well as catering support during peaktimes.What we hope you can bring to the role Youll be an excellent communicator with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.   • To ensure that all meeting rooms, corridors, toilets and external areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Role involves manual handling, heavy lifting & moving furniture.
  • Stock control of all washroom requisites and pads & pens and notify the Senior Events Supervisor or Manager when stock needs replenishing.
  • Maintenance of all flooring within the building; carpets, wooden and tiled
  • To be able to use the RDZ database to check the workload and be able to print worksheets off when required
  • Provide assistance to set up and maintain meeting rooms to the required layout and specifications including table and chair requirements.
  • Provide assistance to key areas of the business including delivering AV equipment, laptops, projectors, screens, Flipcharts, Microphones and any other equipment that maybe required.
  • Assist the catering department during their peak times, tasks involved will be dishwashing, clearing rooms after use, setting catering up in rooms, assisting catering team with putting out food, removal of waste, taking delivery of food containers fromcontract caterers and replenishing stocks when necessary
  • To remove all rubbish/waste and ensure refuse collection occurs on the contracted dates.
  • To be responsible for all for all deliveries and to check items and amounts against the appropriate paperwork before signing off and place goods in the appropriate storage areas.
  • Maintaining tidiness of the car park and the courtyard, clearing litter etc., layout salt down and clearing snow during the winter months.
  • Maintain tidiness and rubbish levels around the building on a daily basis, making sure overflowing bins are emptied and clients waste is disposed of, making sure all areas are clutter free.
  • Check toilet facilities for hand towels, soaps, and toilet roll levels and replenish when necessary
  • Ensure all storerooms are maintained to a tidy and workable standard
