Job Description

We have a fantastic, new opportunity for an experienced ticketing consultant to join a leading Tour Operator.Working within our clients offline team, the role is to provide amulti-functional administration support service to both the reservation team and customers, ensuring all requests are handled with speed, accuracy and professionalism. This position will supportthe team during the evenings when the office is closed, and so would suit those looking to cover night shifts, or those who want a mix of day and night shifts.   • Quality assure bookings made through the call centre.
  • Produce and dispatch invoices, cancellation invoices, ensuring production timescales are met.
  • Dispatch Travel Documentation, ensuring high levels of accuracy when checking documentation.
  • Rebooking flights within the GDS, hotels and transfers when required.
  • Review/action the general Amadeus queues alongside ticketing.
  • Flight changes and supplier amendments are communicated out to agents.
  • Q Management - schedule changes, ticketing deadlines are met and processed correctly.
  • Ticket dispatch for Reservations.
  • Support the Team Leader with Sales Support queries.
  • Provide out of hours support for the emergency out of hours support line for agents/passengers.
  • Effectively dealing with any issues that may arise with a reservation in UK and overseas.
Skills required for the role:
  • Minimum 2 years in airline reservations/ticketing role using a GDS
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to remain calm working in a highly pressurised environment
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage own workload to tight deadlines
  • Willing to cover an out of hours shift pattern
