Job Description

This exciting business was recently formed after being bought out from the wider food business. This wholesale business is a £200m turnover company, stretched across two sites with ambitions to grow rapidly in the next few years. It operates through havinga diverse customer base across thousands of customers and a strong supplier base.Purpose of the RoleWere looking for a superstar PA to work closely with the MD, providing both administration and general support to ensure cohesive running a busy team. This is a crucial role that combines traditional PA duties with a range of projects to ensure we conformto the standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills, who is also capable of working alone and using their own initiative. Were looking for a results-focused person who is well suitedto working in a small teamMain Duties- Comprehensive and proactive MD diary management- Preparing, coordinating and assisting with meetings, capturing the key information and taking minutes where required Essential Requirements- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and independently- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an exceptional telephone manner- Competency using Wordpress, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Googles Gsuite - Docs, Sheets and Slides- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise, and multitask in a fast-paced working environment- Project management skills with an acute attention to detail- Excellent presentation skills- Great interpersonal skills and natural relationship maker- Discretion and trustworthiness: comfortable with confidential information- Always looking for areas of improvement- Flexibility and adaptability- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills- Proficient knowledge of using Microsoft Word and Excel and OutlookDesirable Requirements but not Essential- Previous experience of working in administrative roles- Knowledge of the wholesale industry- Punjabi speaking
