Job Description

Office Administrator Part-timeBirminghamUp to £20KThe Company Legal Services Firm based in Birmingham are looking to recruit an Office Administrator. A specialist in their field, having been awarded firm of the year in 2019 and 2020. They offer full training, close to local shops, restaurants and offer modern onsitefacilities.Why Would I Want to Work HereThis is a part time role working a total of 21.75 hours per week over three days, working Monday and Tuesday 9.00-5.15pm, flexibility on your 3rd day. Offering 25 days holiday (which will be pro ratad) + bank holidays and the opportunity to develop existingand new skills in an established professional environment. Full training will be provided.The Essence of The RoleWorking in a small team and supporting across multiple layers of the business making your role varied and stimulating.Scope of the role

  • Undertake duties in the post room, as required, including processing incoming and outgoing mail, scanning letters, fax and email distribution, ordering business cards and pre-printed stationery.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly letters.
  • Assist with queries on problems with photocopiers and faxes and arrange for engineers where appropriate.
  • Undertake reception duties, as required including taking, transferring, and logging telephone calls, greeting visitors, organising meeting rooms and refreshment/lunch requirements.
  • Maintain all reception documentation including the telephone system directories.
  • Processing courier shipments using the Intraship system including checking of invoices.
  • Provide general administrative support to the support administration team.
  • General office duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, photocopying, emailing as required.
Prerequisites
  • Able to work on site 3 days a week
  • Good understanding of administration processes in an office or reception environment
  • Minimum GCSE English at grade C, or equivalent work experience
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Confident, professional and flexible in your approach to work
