Job Description

My client is one of the leading occupational health service providers. They provide tailored, comprehensive, focused and integrated occupational health business solutions for a wide variety of clients across the whole of the UK and is part of Spire Healthcaregroup.As an OH advisor, youll be expected to travel (up to 1 hour) to client sites 2-3 days in a week and 2-3 days work from home.Responsibilities :

  • Ensure Occupational Health individual records are kept confidentially and within data protection regulations.
  • Triaging of case management referrals.
  • Risk management and health surveillance programme participation. Attending meetings and giving advise on occupational health matters to their lead contract.
  • Contribute narrative to monthly management information reports for customers.
  • Dealing with occupational health clinical client and customer queries.
  • Flexibility to work at customer sites, as required, within working hours.
  • To participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as
  • SEQOHS
Qualifications :
  • Registered NMC Nurse (Essential)
  • Certificate, Diploma, or degree in Occupational Health (Essential)
  • Proven Occupational Health experience will be considered (Essential)
  • Health and Safety qualification
  • Report writing certificate
  • HAVs tier 3 qualified
Must have:
  • 2+ years’ experience in Occupational Health case management
  • Clinical expertise in OH particularly with regard to mental health and musculoskeletal issues
  • Health surveillance experience and knowledge
Desirable Skills :
  • Spirometry
  • Audiometry
  • HAVs
  • Up to date BLS & anaphylaxis
  • DSE assessments
  • Immunisation knowledge and experience
  • Clinical audit experience
  • Experience working for an independent occupational health provider
  • Experience with complex cases and case conferences
