Job Description

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a Global Investment Bank based in Central Birmingham. As part of their continued growth across technology. They are looking to appoint an experienced Nimsoft Engineer paying a salary range of £42,000 to £55,000 plus bonus.Due to the current climate, all roles are home based indefinitely.As an experienced Nimsoft Engineer you are required to engineer the Nimsoft service platform. Providing a common framework for application development teams to implement monitoring of their applications.Nimsoft Engineer: Duties

  • Engage key stakeholders and product manager in design and implement new features to the Nimsoft core platform
  • Provide leadership in architecture, design and enhancement of Nimsoft platform and service
  • Bespoke development of custom Nimsoft probes to deliver new capabilities across Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows, Database, MS SQL Server, Sybase
  • Develop integrations with variety of third-party tools APIs, Databases and services
    • Nimsoft Engineer: Duties
  • Nimsoft expert - engineering solutions
  • Develop Nimsoft to monitor various database technologies - Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase
  • Scripting across Perl, Python, Shell, SQL, Java, GO Lang, Unix, Windows, AIX
  • Development of techonlogies - HTML, CSS, IntelliJ, PhyCharm, Eclipse, JSP, SOAP, KAFKA, msi, rpm, API, REST
  • SDLC processes and concepts - Agile, JIRAm Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Teamcity, Puppet, SonarQube
