Job Description

A leading distributor of industrial products who sell in to contracting, maintenance, commercial and manufacturing sectors is looking for a proactive and results-focused National Business Development Manager to make an impact on their business. Youll beinstrumental in supporting an existing network of branches across England and Wales in growing their sales of mechanical products.Role ResponsibilitiesYoull be working for an impressive £1.4 billion group of distribution businesses who continue to grow through the high-quality service they provide alongside quality, branded products. They have an enviable supplier network and have built a fantastic reputationfor themselves within their industry. The business offers excellent progression opportunities and promotes a culture of autonomy and financial rewards for success.As a National Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Be at the forefront of representing the business by winning new business in the mechanical sector
  • Set up new supplier relationships
  • Sell mechanical products such as belts, bearings, chains, pulleys and sprockets etc
  • Travel across England and Wales including overnight stays
  • Meet sales targets and increase the profitability of the business
  • Present, communicate and negotiate with a wide range of customers
RewardsAs National Business Development Manager, you will receive:
  • A starting salary of £40,000 - £47,500
  • An uncapped bonus
