National Account Manager - Electric Heating and RenewablesJob Title: National Account Manager - Electric Heating & RenewablesIndustry Sector: Social Housing, Showering, Panel Heaters, Water Heating, Ventilation, Instant Hot Water, Renewable products, HVAC, Electric Heating, Renewable Energy, Social Housing, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Electrical Wholesale, Plumbing& Heating Merchants, Domestic Ventilation, M&E Contractors, Electrical Contractors/ InstallersArea to be covered: NationalRemuneration: £57,000-£62,000 Neg. + 20% BonusBenefits: Fully expensed hybrid car or £450 per month car allowance + full benefits packageThe role of the National Account Manager - Electric Heating & Renewables will involve:

  • Field sales position selling our clients manufactured range of electric heating and renewable products
  • Focus on hot water, heat pumps and renewable products, but responsible for whole portfolio including electric heating products
  • National account responsibility for 3/4 national plumbing and heating merchants
  • Relatively small initial revenue responsibility circa £1m-£2m
  • Huge opportunity to grow accounts to £20m+
  • 100% account development role
  • Strategic planning, writing and development of strategy and implementation of commercial strategies
  • Developing strong working relationships with all key personnel and departments within the nominated trade client
  • Responsible for account portfolio, revenue, margin, budget and forecasting
  • Negotiating trading and contractual agreements
  • P&L responsibility of customer accounts
The ideal applicant will be a national Account Manager - Electric Heating & Renewables with:
  • Proven track record of managing either key accounts or national accounts in the plumbing and heating industry
  • May be open to a national account manager for electrical wholesale customers
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to implement commercial strategy
  • Comfortable planning and writing national account strategy
  • Ability to manage the client P&L
  • Tenacious, good energy levels
  • Analytical thinker
