An opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking, and growing food group with significant presence in branded spices, pulses, canned ambient products and speciality Asian ingredients.Working with a range of brands who have significant presence across the independent sector and the grocery multiples in UK, they also have a huge presence in the independent Asian channels across Continental European countries.This is an opportunity for a National Account Manager to make a significant impact on a growing their food business across one of the Top 4 grocer accounts with a current spend of £10million.As the National Account Manager, you will be the primary customerinterface responsible for leading the negotiations and the development of customer specific strategic and tactical plans to deliver company volume and profit targets. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships andgrowing product exposure.The ideal candidate for this role will either be operating at a National Account Manager level currently, ideally from a structured FMCG background and experience of working with the leading multiple grocersThe ability to demonstrate strong selling and negotiationskills with a proven track record of growing an account will be key. Additionally, youll be commercially astute and driven and will be looking for a company that will give you the flexibility and freedom to be yourself and operate at your best.Familiarity with South Asian culture would be an advantage but not essential. If you are an individual who can look at the bigger picture and can lead effective business plans, whilst possessing good attention to detail with the ability to negotiation andinfluencea sales process, this could be the ideal position for you.On offer is a basic salary ranging between £45,000 - £52,000, 15% OTE, company car, healthcare, pension, 25 days annual leave.
