Job Description

Do you have a passion for building great relationships and maintaining themIf you have experience as a NAM or Sales Manager and are looking for a new challenge as a National Account Manager, then look no further.Copart are looking for National Account Managers to compliment and grow an already established team.The Insurance Sales team are responsible for retaining and growing customer accounts, whilst increasing revenue through additional services and reducing cost to serve by identifying process improvements. Delivering exceptional customer service through buildingand maintaining strong customer relationships.Working with all areas of the business to deliver the best outcome for our customers, their policy holders and Copart.The National Account Manager will work with other peers in Insurance Sales and be supported by an office-based support team to enable a focused approach on our growth. Working with team mates across all areas and at all levels of our business you must bean excellent communicator and motivator with a highly collaborative style.This is a pivotal role within the sales function taking responsibility for managing multi-level relationships and commercial negotiations with a portfolio of existing insurance, credit hire and accident management customers, fully understanding and deliveringtheir requirements through effective communication to the businesss operation and other departments. There is also a critical requirement to enhance the portfolio by actively seeking out new business opportunities as well as process improvements and sellingin additional services to increase revenue and ultimately profitability.Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day requirements of a portfolio of seller accounts including major UK insurers, credit hire and accident management companies
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure the delivery of services to the customer base
  • Conduct account reviews on a regular basis in line with the size and requirements of the account and meeting seller requirements
  • Manage account strategies through account plans and regular reviews
  • Manage market reviews and tenders through to retention
  • Commercial strategies - collate commercial proposals, including additional services and profit enhancement opportunities
  • Take ownership of contract execution
  • Manage an effective multi-level contact strategy to ensure the maximum exposure for Copart across each customer, including but not limited to Managing Director, Sales Director, senior operational colleagues and claims/salvage teams
  • Maintain events and hospitality records as necessary
  • Complete weekly reporting and be responsible for managing the effectiveness of all data on the companies CRM tool
  • Grow accounts and own the development and selling of new products and services
  • Develop new relationships and new business with new customers
  • Obtain required sign offs for implementation of new business or changes in commercial terms ensuring compliance with all audit requirements
