Multi-skilled Property Maintenance Operative - Birmingham - up to £30kMy client is a leading independent Lettings and Estate Agency brand who have a growing property portfolio within the Birmingham area. Due to this ongoing growth, they are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance operative with some experience in joinery,roofing, plastering, plumbing, basic electrical work and tiling.The successful candidate will be working on reactive and planned maintenance basis carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance across residential properties in the group’s portfolio. The candidate will need to be driven, committed and well organisedto deal with their work in a timely manner ensuring everything is logged, responded to and updated.Main Duties to include:• Interacting and dealing with landlords and tenants• Identify and diagnose issues that require repairs• Instructing outside contractors where necessary and ensure they deliver on the task at hand• Prepare homes for new clients• Decoration, plumbing, joinery, basic electrical work• Working as part of a team to deliver a quality product• Maintain confidentialitySkills Required:• Good time management and multi task• Must be hardworking, reliable and excellent knowledge of general maintenance work• Good communicator with inter-personal skills and act in a professional manner.• Must hold a full UK drivers licence and vehicle for which mileage will be paid• Smartly dressed and presentable• Some weekend work may be requiredThe team at Nexus are specialists in providing high-quality recruitment solutions across the property sector.
