Job Description

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile HVAC and Refrigeration Engineer to join our clients inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Mobile HVAC and Refrigeration Engineer role will be 80% Midlands and offers an attractivesalary and benefits.In your first few weeks in this Mobile HVAC and Refrigeration Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Carry out a reactive and planned preventive maintenance service to all plant and equipment across the clients sites, focusing on refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning plant, associated services and electrical equipment
  • Support projects and maintenance activities, assist in planning and work with contractors to support successful delivery of their works
  • Coordinate and lead mechanical and electrical maintenance activities
To apply for this Mobile HVAC and Refrigeration Engineer role, you will need a working knowledge of computers and computer-type software, i.e Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Computer Maintenance System. You will also need:
  • City and Guilds 2079 F Gas Class 1 & 2 certification
  • CITB Safe Handling of Refrigerants J11-12
  • Apprenticeship served in an industrial engineering or maintenance environment.
  • Industrial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Fitting or Engineering BTEC - ONC / HNC or equivalent (preferable however experience will be considered).
  • Electrical Installation: City & Guilds 2394 & 2395, 2330/2351/2355 or 236 Parts A&B or 2360 Parts 1&2 or 2365 Level 2&3 or 2356 NVQ 3 within a recognised Apprenticeship.
  • City & Guilds 6187 categories 1-6 (Unit 230/530) and 7189 categories 2-3 (Unit 209/509).
  • Certificate for the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2008 (2382 - 12, 15 or 20); for 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Electrical Inspection and Testing competence: C&G 2391-10 or C&G 2394/2395.
  • Electrical Technical competence: BTEC – ONC/HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • H&S qualifications: IOSH / NEBOSH Working (or Supervising) Safely or Contractor Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS Card), ECITB Safety Passport or equivalent.
