Job Description

IDEX are searching for an experienced Mobile Developer to join a fast-growing, disruptive and technology driven financial services practice in the North West. Our client is invested in developing innovative products and services to grow the opportunity for financial advice accessibility and as such are looking for an individual to help build their mobile applications framework to support current and future business objectives.You will have success in building mobile applications across both iOS and Android, with a primary focus in Ionic development (Angular). You will ideally have exposure of working with Open Banking APIs and authentication providers like Auth0.This will be a home-based working opportunity, with a requirement to travel to Manchester adhoc.Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain http services
  • Work cross functionally to understand complex user needs and translate into solutions
  • Take ownership of features developed
  • Able to collaborate with other team members to share ideas and senior stakeholders to help build and maintain mobile applications
    • What were looking for:
  • Strong working knowledge and experience within Angular, JavaScript, Firebase (or similar), Git and Ionic framework v3+
  • Knowledge and understanding of platform complexities and limitations between iOS and Android
  • Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally within the team
  • High level of attention to detail, able to work autonomously where required and complete projects proficiently and on-time
