Middleware Developer - WSO2Hybrid options availableOur client who are a leading bank have an opportunity for a Middleware Developer to join them on a permanent basis. The Middleware Developer Responsibility for design, development and support services to Digital Banking systems and provide expertise in theintegration between several systems in the Bank and components with our technology architecture. The development will focus primarily on WSO2 with further development work on other Digital Banking technologies. This is a key role in the technology team, requiringspecialist systems knowledge, focussed on delivering the strategic initiatives of the Bank.Role responsibilities:

• Design Develop and support our middleware and integration technologies. Act as an SME for Digital and Open Banking development and maintenance.

• Provide technical support for incidents and technical investigation for issues and change requests
• Be responsible for understanding specification and translating them to integration components on WSO2 and other middleware technologies.
• Responsible for upgrades and fixes to the WSO2 platform.
• Administration Azure cloud environment for Digital and Open Banking, understanding services deployed in Azure for Digital Banking platform and related cloud SQL databases.
• Resolve production issues within the agreed SLA and service delivery guidelines
• Will support Business analysts, developers and solution architects in producing fit for purpose design documents.
• Support testers during the test cycles to ensure quality deliverables.
• Produce support documentation for all new and existing components to be able to deliver effective support to the business

• Administration of Onespan Cronto image platform and Digipass token.

Skills required:

• Degree qualified in information technology, engineering or related subject
• Extensive experience of WSO2
• Experience of at least one Enterprise Integration (EI) technology e.g. MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience of programming languages e.g. C#, Java, Javascript
• Good SQL skills
• Exposure to multiple operating systems e.g. Windows, Linux
• Cloud knowledge and deployment e.g. Azure
• Security and Authentication e.g. Certificates, SSL, IAM
• Strong systems integration experience
• Experience of multiple technology stacks e.g. Microsoft based, open source
• Multi-tier architecture
• Good understanding of SOAP and RESTful API patterns
• Comfortable with XML, JSON processing
• Microsoft BizTalk
• Open Banking
• Experience in documenting system designs and working directly with business users and project managers
• Good trouble shooter and the ability to narrow down to the root cause
• The capability to work in different integration technologies and gain expertise quickly
• Good understanding of business integration expertise
• Deep technical knowledge to solve solution related issues.
• Good Problem-solving skills when working alone and in a team
• Proven track record of analytical and problem-solving abilities, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills and stakeholder communication and liaison.
• Analytical and methodical approach to demanding technical challenges
• Well organised and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to diagnose issues and manage them to completion
• Ability to manage work from inception to completion.
