This award-winning and expanding UK retailer is looking to recruit a Merchandising and Supply Chain Analyst who will work closely with the Head of Merchandising to organise, co-ordinate and improve the reporting processes of the Merchandising and SupplyChain teams. The job holder will work in their modern West Midlands office 2 -3 days per week, with the rest being home based.About the roleThis will be a high-profile role where you will wok cross-functionally with the Merchandising, Buying and IT teams to ensure the WSSI and lineflow systems are monitored and managed to ensure the business produces accurate forecasting and stock requirements.You will be responsible for generating reports as well and analysing and presenting the data to support accurate decision making.About the PersonThis would suit someone with a Retail Merchandising or Supply Chain background who is looking to apply their skills and knowledge in a varied and cross-functional role. It could be that the idea of working across all categories and product areas appealsand that you really enjoy analysing and extracting data, and then presenting it in a way that helps the team make sound commercial decisions. It is essential that you have a collaborative working style, be a confident communicator with ability to influenceboth internal and external stakeholders. You will have experience in using WSSIs and Lineflow reports.
