They are an employer who genuinely looks after their staff and invests in their people. They offer ongoing training, development and progressionopportunities for the successful engineer.The role would suit mechanical maintenance engineers, solely mechanical engineers or mechanical fitters from a strong manufacturing or heavy industrial background. Engineers who have experience working in heavier industries such as metal works, steel works/steelprocessing facilities, foundries or brickworks are encouraged to apply. The successful mechanical maintenance engineer will ideally be apprentice trained, time served or equivalent.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be well supported within your role, working within a large multi skilled maintenance and engineering team. You will work across a large manufacturing environment where the role will be varied and you will workon a wide range of foundry, rolling mill and CNC capital equipment. Your role will be 100% mechanically focused and you will carry out a range of both reactive/breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance following a PPM schedule.This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a role where you have the ability to work on a wide range of machinery, where no two shifts will be the same.
