Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Company PackageHours: 07:00 AM to 17:50 PM (Monday to Friday) / 07:00 AM to 13:00 PM (Saturday 3 in 4)As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key part within the recycling company based in Birmingham. looking to expand their maintenance team at their facility to maintain and repair their machinery critical to meeting their production targets.You will need to be able to or have an understanding of the following:* Knowledge of material scrap handlers* Be able to diagnose hydraulic/fuel/adblue and electrical issues.* Ability to change rams/grabs/hydraulic pipes.* Welding experience/replace worn grab tips.* General maintenance knowledge of shears/shredders* Ability to change blades, welding wear parts.* Build up (welding) blades for re-use.* Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues.* Conveyor belt maintenance.* Knowledge of generators 1500kva and 1000kva.The starting salary offered is up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with overtime available during the week and weekends.Your working hours will be based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating days and nights.If successful, you will benefit from:* Great opportunity for personal development - internal progression.* Free parking* Company Training* Staff events* Pension SchemeThe first stage of the application process is to apply online.
