Mechanical Fitter (3 Month FTC)Aston, Birmingham£40,170 Pro Rata + Overtime Opportunities Paid at Rate + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pensions + On Site ParkingShift Work. Days and Nights.Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Fitter required for a well established and well renowned manufacturer who supply to a range of industries and supply their products on a global scale. They offer a varied role within a great team environment. Theyoffer initially a 3 month fixed term contract with the potential of securing a permanent position.The role would suit mechanical fitters/mechanical maintenance engineers with a background in manufacturing or a production facility. Applicants must be competent with hydraulics, pneumatics and ideally have experience with pipefitting. Mechanical fittersor mechanical maintenance engineers who have experience working within a medium or heavier industry will have a considerable advantage.Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working within the maintenance team, the role will involve a mixture of reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of production machinery. You will work on a wide range of production machinery such as meltingfurnaces, strip casters, rolling mills, annealing furnaces, picking lines etc.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established company who boast a great team environment.
