Mechanical EngineerLocation: Birmingham, West MidlandsSalary: £35k - £45k, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentBenefits: Permanent Health insurance and life care (not health care) (AQP), Discretionary bonus scheme (AQP) Pension and Support to improve relevant qualifications and/or with the relevant chartership body.Time Commitments: The role will require 37.5 hours per week usually between the hours of 9-5.30 but will require candidates to be flexible in their hours of work when required.Our Client has been providing high quality consultancy in building engineering services within the UK ever since the business was formed in 2004. In this timeframe they have grown to be a highly successful business with an enviable client portfolio.They are investing heavily in new technologies which keep them at the forefront of their field and profession which is spread over 3 core disciplines: M&E, Vertical Transportation and Facilities Management.Over the last few years the business has expanded to complete a number of projects across countries in Northern Europe and continues to expand its operations within the UK in a number of areas. In order to achieve this, our client is looking for a skilled and highly motivated mechanical engineer to join their team in order to expand business whilst also working on projects for existing clients.Position Summary - Mechanical EngineerThe position will involve working on projects for a range of clients including national and international blue chip organisations. The application of the latest technologies in mechanical engineering services design is a pre-requisite, as our Client uses MagiCAD and Revit as the norm for all design projects. The role will also involve working with the team in analysing problems with current installations and implementing improvements to existing systems. 50% of the deliverables of this organisation are reports - upon which clients make business decisions. A key element of the position will be client care and management. The role will involve time spent in the office designing solutions and also time working on site at clients’ premises.Future Opportunities: This is a full-time position offering long term prospects for the successful candidate to develop a successful career as the company continues to grow.
