34k- Mechanical Engineer - Steam Boiler - BournevilleSalary: Paying £34,000Hours: Days - (Shift) - 7-7.Location: Bourneville - (Birmingham)I am currently recruiting for a Shift Technician - Mechanical bias with Steam experience to be based in Bourneville - (Birmingham)On offer is a fantastic opportunity working for one of the leading service providers working on one of the most prestigious contracts in the UK based in the Birmingham area.The role holder will operate, maintain and rectify all plant and equipment onsite ensuring all PPMs and reactive repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Also Conducting servicing on PLCs and Pipe WorkJob Role·To service and maintain boilers, mainly Steam on one large critical site·Maintenance and servicing is required too for biomass pellet boilers·Operate, maintain and rectify all mechanical plant and equipment including distribution systems on site.·Maintain Log Books onsiteQualifications·City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering·Boiler qualifications is desired·Ideally has steam experience·Must come from a strong mechanical maintenance background - preferably with 5 years experience in a similar field·Experience on pumps, compressors, bearings, strip down.
