Job Description

Maths ECTAre you a driven and enthusiastic individual looking to inspire and instil a love of MathsCan you support KS3 & KS4 students by delivering engaging and Maths lessonsThis ‘Good’ rated Ofsted school is looking for a motivated and talented Maths ECT to join their team and become an integral part of the Maths department.*** Maths ECT*** Permanent – September 2024*** MPS1 - £30,000*** Location – Wolverhampton*** 78% GCSE Maths pass rate in 2021Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons that cater to varying learning styles and abilities.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for mathematics.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and aligned with national standards.
  • Assess and monitor students progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics Department and across other subject areas to create a cohesive learning experience.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, with a demonstrated track record of achieving positive student outcomes.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting mathematical understanding and enthusiasm among students.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students in the learning process.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the schools ethos and development.
