Job Description

  • Salary to £45,000 plus with additional benefits with UK and European travel.
  • This is a new role, created as part of a major investment in UK growth.
  • We seek a talented and experienced Marketing Executive to execute local marketing strategies that will promote products, drive customer engagement and support sales growth.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Acquire a deep understanding of the routes to market, customer profiles, product segments, price points and competitors.
  • Work with the European Marketing Manager to design, develop and implement effective marketing activities that achieve brand, category and sales objectives.
  • Management of all UK marketing events inc major trade shows.
  • Assist with product launches, key customer proposals, social media, public relations, press releases, advertising and exhibition planning.
  • Initiate market and/or customer research activities.
  • Regular competitor analysis by brand and product segment.
  • Be the primary advocate for the UK dealer and UK end-user in European product development and marketing discussions.
  • Support UK dealers with online and offline marketing material - POS, brochures, samples, merchandise etc.
  • Responsible for management and best use of UK marketing budget

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • This is an important appointment within a newly formed UK business with the ambition to achieve rapid sales and market share growth for garden power products in the UK professional groundscare market.
Key Requirements Are:
  • At least 3 years of successful experience in product management or product marketing, preferably in a consumer or industrial market.
  • A professional marketing qualification, IT literate and experience of budget management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influential and a talented team player.
  • Understands how to identify market needs and opportunities and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Able to analyse data and report internally against KPIs.
  • Energetic, resilient, gregarious with a positive outlook.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Able to manage shifting priorities with a high attention to detail.
Salary/Benefits Information:
  • The successful candidate will enjoy a basic salary up to £45,000 plus additional benefits
