Job Description

MARKETING ASSISTANTRole overviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Vario, Flexible Services team in Birmingham.Pinsent Masons Vario is a market-leader in the legal sector. A brand within Pinsent Masons, it is a professional services business which combines the best in class people, process and technology to deliver output-focused solutions that enable our clientsto achieve their business strategies.We are rapidly growing the business, delighting our clients and building an international brand, one that matches our high standards - and thats where this position fits in.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day, the Marketing Assistant will be helping the Vario Marketing team to deliver the marketing plan; this could be helping to build upon our fantastic international brand in a new country; developing our social media presence; helping to organisecontent for our blog or assisting with organising physical and online events.Role requirementsNecessary:

  • 1-2 years experience working in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines
  • 1-2 years experience working in a marketing department
  • A solid understanding of basic marketing principles
  • A good understanding of the importance of branding
Desirable:
  • Experience of working within a corporate/professional services business
  • Experience of contributing towards an advertising campaign, either online or offline
