Manufacturing Engineer (CNC / Precision / Fabricated Components)Birmingham£35,000 to £40,000 + Company Pension + Generous Holiday + Benefits PackageManufacturing Engineer role on offer with an impressive profitable business that is part of a larger group of companies. You will play a key role within the business. Your efforts will lead to improvements across manufacturing methods and productivities. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who can demonstrate clear examples of improvements that they have personally made in production processes. Experience of fixture and tooling design is essential and any CADCAM and CNC programming experience would be beneficial. As a key staff member, this is a varied an exciting role. You will work across several teams and will be communicating at all levels. You will get the opportunity to drive your improvements through and actually implement lasting change with the organisation.The Manufacturing Engineer Role:* Improving current manufacturing processes.* The production environment is precision machined and fabricated components.* Feasibility studies, process timings, fixture design and tool selection.* Getting involved with prototyping activities.* Programming CNC’s and / or CADCAM work if have the ability to do so.The Manufacturing Engineer: * Experienced Manufacturing Engineer.* Can demonstrate a proven track record of improvements.* Understanding of fixture and tooling design.* Any CADCAM and/or CNC programming would be beneficial but is NOT essential.
