Job Description

Asset Maintenance ManagerBRAND NEW ROLE FOR 2023Salary - Competitive with Fantastic BenefitsCash for Car or Car AllowanceRemote role - Occasional Travel to Developments and Head Office Required.To lead in the development of asset maintenance strategies across the McCarthy Stone estate and to support the wider Property Operations team in providing effective property management, commercial and technical support to the Operations Team and to McCarthyStone customers.Key Responsibilities

  • To lead on the development of maintenance strategies for assets within the McCarthy Stone estate.
  • Promoting the Core Values and Business Philosophy of McCarthy Stone Group and MSMS at all times.
  • Liaise with the Property Operations Planning team in the application of maintenance plans across the estate and to support on resolution of maintenance related defects or repairs.
  • Supporting the construction teams to identify client requirements for new developments and feeding back into the product development process.
  • Support the surveying team in determining maintenance plans for developments where bespoke arrangement may be required.
  • Liaise and work closely with MSRL Divisional Teams to support MSMS Operations Teams to resolve property related issues to deliver and achieve Customer Satisfaction and NPS.
  • Liaise where necessary, with relevant Divisions/Head Office departments, including Group Commercial and Group Design.
  • Keep abreast of relevant compliance legislation and best practice and update maintenance strategy accordingly.
  • Join the standby rota for the portfolio to give support out of hours.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Educated to HNC or degree level or equivalent and likely possess or working towards a professional qualification in a facilities or construction related field, preferably IWFM or similar.
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets
  • A property-based database such as Qube would be an advantage.
  • A sound knowledge of Landlord compliance regulations and broader maintenance requirements is required for this position
  • Excellent knowledge of the property management industry.
  • Have worked in a related industry for the last three years.
  • Strategy development and M&E experience would be beneficial.
