Maintenance Engineer - Food ManufacturerReference: Jo5082/KWLocation: BirminghamSalary: £42,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Benefits Monday to Thursday - Days & Nights rotating 12 Hour ShiftsThe CompanyAn excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading privately owned food manufacturers, a growing and supportive organisation.   • Apprenticed Trained Engineer either Electrical or Mechanical
  • Experience of PLCs & Automated Machinery
  • Knowledge of PPM Systems within Manufacturing
The RoleThe ideal candidate will come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with multi-skilling and have fast moving packaging/food/FMCG manufacturing experience, withina structured PPM system. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on PLCsystems, it would be advantageous. Also, able and willing to work from circuit diagrams and on flow wrappers, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery.
