JOB – Maintenance EngineerLOCATION – South BirminghamTERM – PermanentSALARY – £35,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience Shifts alternating between early and latesMy client utilises specialist machinery in the automation / automotive sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:• Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing• Experienced working in robotics/automotive/automation sectors ideally• A confident Electrical and Mechanical skillset• A solid understanding of commercial electrical and plumbing work• An Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualification would also be beneficial• Excellent organisational and communication skills• Proven ability to work effectively in a team• A flexible and proactive attitude towards workThe Maintenance Engineer role will involve:• Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance• PPM and breakdown avoidance• Ensuring documentation is maintained, site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met• Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control• Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site• Working with others and being an excellent team playerIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
